X4000 is a PC-based ready-to-run general purpose machine vision software for automatic visual inspection and measurement.
X4000 supports Matrox series of frame grabbers including Meteor, MeteorII, Pulsar and Genesis and up to eleven cameras.
This combination gives a powerful, flexible and scalable platform for both standard type applications as well as customized solutions.
X4000 runs on standard PC's as well as Matrox 4Sight series stand-alone systems under Microsoft WIndows XP or XP Embedded.
A special configuration, suitable for a large number of applications is the combination of the X4000 software and the Matrox 4Sight series stand-alone vision system. This configuration - XSight - is available as a standard product.
X4000 includes a graphical user interface for configuration, run-time information and diagnostics. Anyone familiar with Microsoft Windows environment finds easily the way through menues and set-up functions.
X4000 has built-in functions for communication with external equipment via digital signals as well as serial communication.
X4000 supports several cameras and several different products. Switching between cameras and products can be done fully automatically via external communication.
X4000 can store images as well as inspections results for subsequent analysis and/or trouble-shooting. Several modes of logging of information is available.
